Just received mine and wanna do a diffrent color scheme ... just wanted to get some info on how some of you guys did this ...

Sorry about that ... Fuel Rail Covers ... seen lot of people do that so I did! lol :Ohno:

I put about four coats each of black then clear

You could try powdercoating them. A buddy of mine got a really cheap powder coater (i want to say $50) from sears, and it's pretty impressive what it can do. He powdercoated a toolbox for his truck with it. I'll try to get some pics.

I though this was for metal surfaces ... the Fuel Rail Covers are a hard plastic but wont be able to handle an oven .... I got the GTO one's ... They are AWESOME !!!!!! I will post some pic of them this week when I get a chance ...

I worked with the checkeredflagstore to get the trimming done along with taking off the corvette and the first coat of black.
Then I finished with the stripping the emblem and the rest of the paint and clear.
Total project was around 2 bills.
