I think slp has a little device you plug/splice in that allows you to recalibrate it but I haven't been able to find it on slp or thunderracing's site. It might not be offered/available anymore.

There is a guy on ebay who will do this for you for 30 Bucks and tune your car to run a little better while he is at it.
