Did you notice any change in performance and sound of your vehicle? What kind of vehicle do you have?
You take them off, use a piece of rebar and pound the ceramic stuff out of it.
An air chisel speeds up the process.

Yeah I noticed a little differance top end. and yeah all you gotta do is take them off and take a hammer and screwdriver (or some sort of rod) and know the crap outa the inside. I have LM exhaust w/out cats and I love the sound of it.

Yeah I took my cats off and went with a flowmaster muffler and the sound is incredible. According to my ass dyno it helped. I have not been the the real dyno since. As soon as I do I'll post a thread with exact horsepower differences.

Yo. New to the site.If you gut the cats. Will the computer turn on the check engine light?

Yes it will. You will need a pair of o2 simulators or someone with a programmer to clear the trouble codes the gutted cats will throw.

I would think you'd be better off buying a ORY pipe instead to replace that "flat" pipe that runs along the drivers side of the car, you can usually pick em up for about $100 used, are you running stock exhaust right now?

Where can I pick up a used ORY pipe that will fit the stock exhaust manifolds?
