Can you buy the Berger panel some where? Is it cheaper to purchase a new one or just have the stock piece painted black? An do you use flat black, flat black w/clear coat, or factory black w/clear coat? This is going on a white car.

i dont if you can buy a pre fab berger panel. as far as the paint, its all you man. whatever you think looks the best. i think the original berger panels are flat. personally i like the way matte black looks, but, once again, its all up to you.

You can buy another panel, but it would probally be cheaper to paint you own. i think gloss black looks the best.

I had my original panel painted gloss black to match my roof. And it only cost me $100 at a local body shop. Here are a couple of pictures of my car (silver) and one of a flat black on another car (red). Hope this helps.:Ohno:

is it silly to paint the panel anything other than black??? what if you have a black car??? is this one mod you just don't do then??

I have seen a few people put a flat black or even silver panel on there black cars. Just personal preference I guess whether you will like it or not. :)

i went with gloss black, also got rid of "camaro" and the keyhole while i had it off.

how did it look? any good? i don't i think i saw a flat black one once, just thought there was something wrong with it, didn't even consider this could be what he was doing...haven't seen a different color one tho...does anyone on here have a colored berger panel??

The flat black looked ok. I wouldn't say it looked any better or worse than the onyx black though. It would just be a personal preference IMO.
