I'm looking for feedback on the reliability concerning a steel shell and an aluminum shell damper assembly. The same goes for the hub material.
The weight differences are a given.
What I'm looking for:
Does the aluminum shell damper assembly perform as well as a steel shell assembly in controlling crankshaft twist and harmful harmonics?
Does the aluminum hub show tendencies to wear more quickly than a steel hub at the seal surface?
