Ok I hear every one saying pacesetters are the best bang for the buck and fit great. However if money isn't a factor , which product out there is best for power, long lasting and most importantly fitment? I have an 01 ws6 vert and I'm looking into purchasing header and a catted y-pipe (damn state laws).

So everyones input will be greatly apprecated:help: :dunno:

i have pacesetter headers and their ory. i've had them for over a year and they still look good.

if money isn't an option get the most expensive headers you can buy!

Stainless Works, Kooks, and QTP. QTP being my personal favorite. I would just match the QTP headers with their QTP y-pipe.

Even if money weren't a factor for me I think I'd still go with pacesetters. The fit was awesome.

I just installed coated Pacesetters on my car this weekend, and they look great. Can't really compare them to any other brands because I've never dealt with any others. I will say that if you go with long tubes, you car WILL NOT be legal, cats or no cats. In order to put lt's on, you have to move the stock location of the converters; this makes it illegal. You may pass the sniffer, but you won't pass a visual. Just something to think about.

I wish:lol: Im a poor college student so I make due with pacesetters. In reality though Im happy with pacesetters.

I have seen them in person and they are truly a work of art though. Everything from the merge collector to the build quality is awesome on the QTPs.

If you have the money and you arent worried about spending the extra $500 I would get QTPs. If you think its a bit steep there is nothing wrong with getting pacesetters. They're a quality header at the fraction of the price. Just my $.02

If you have the money get the QTPs. The headers themselves are not $500 more than the Pacesetters. Unless the Pacesetter headers are $225 which I don't think they are. After the y-pipe then I don't know because I don't have a y-pipe.

kooks headers on order (race style) with there ory (y-pipe catless)
My state does not have emissions testing but if they ever do can I make the headers pass I know I can get a new y-pipe with cats.

I was including the y-pipe as well. It was just a rough estimate.

QTP's... They are the same as Kooks but their Y-pipe is stainless. My Kooks(Y) has rust

seeing as you are in new hampshire, i would be getting stainless steel or at least some really good thick mild steel headers with very good ceramic coating.

I have JBA headers on my ls1. I really love them, they are pretty expensive but I like the way they look and the extra power they gave me.
