ls2 and 125 shot. Do i need to retard?

I am waiting on my 05 gto 6spd to get outta paint shop---had to get rid of a little curb rash under front fascia. I got a zex wet kit, accessories kit, and rapid fire illuminated purge sittting in boxs as soon as it gets back i am gonna install it on the goat. I have never ran nitrous on a 6spd or an ls2. Do i need to retard the timing for a 125 shot? Do i need a window switch? i know i'll need plugs---thanks in advance

You won't have to retard it any unless you have advanced your timing via a PCM tune. I would suggest getting a window switch.

some people will say no.

If you want to be safe and insure no detonation and blah blah.... lol Make sure you retard the timing a little. i'm @ 16 degrees right now. tuned for 91.
