Are the torque thrust 2 in 17x9.5 going to be much heavier then my stock ws6 wheels? I love the look but dont want to lose the performance!!
where can i find weights of wheels?

If you cant find it on their website try asking someone selling them on ebay or something? Just a thought.

i asked the source, emailed american racing and they replied they will weigh approx. 24 lbs.
Now the question is, how much do the stock ws6 wheels weigh? where can i find that
i think the stock ws6 wheels weigh like 20.5 pounds
what ive heard is the 17x9.5 are 24 pounds and the 17x11 weigh 27 pounds
dont quote me on this because i could be wrong.

so were talking probably 15 lbs of extra rotational mass....
think thats enough to effect performance?
yea,
That and the burger you had for lunch.

when i put my cragar SS (steel) rims on 17x9 they weighed like twice of my ZR1's that were aluminium
how much do you think that extra weight would slow somebody down in the 1/4 mile?
im debating on some 17x11 TTIIs in the back or just getting some pre 2000 ws6 rims (if i can find them)
if the TTIIs didnt affect my performance i would get them for sure

I was just wondering, wouldn you rather your car look kick ass with a new set of wheels:dot: OR be able to run the 1/4 mile 1/10th of a second quicker? Hmmm....:thinkin:
:dunno:
I would go for looks over 1/10th of a second anyday.

My TTII's are on the way.
Replacing my stock WS.6 wheels.
Little heavier...but these won't be track wheels eventually.
