99 firebird vs unknown gto

heres a story for ya.on my way into work today going down 128 south i noticed a yellow gto in my rear view..this was my fist chance to see a gto in person .so i slowed down to let him catch up to get a better look..man that thing was sweet i want one so badly but 35,000 is a bit high for my budget.but anyways he gives me a look and takes off so i say to myself no way hes gonna make me look like a fool so i punch it.now im in the same lane as him like 2 feet behind him he take s off again.this time i said to myself stop being nice and switched lanes and blew by him leaving him in the dust.i was doing at least 110mph but had to slow down quick goes 128's traffic is crazy and my exit was coming up.i noticed him coming into sight again as he passed me he just gave me a node..im sure he didnt let out the beast but i made him look bad by leaving him behind...i just run basicly a bone stock v6 firebird

because you only have a stock v6...maybe if you had a formula it would be different...cuz you could have walked over you with like 1/2 throttle...this isnt a kill story its a he got stuck behind traffic so i had the opportunity to to pass him story. Ill let you know how a gto runs against my ls1 in a week or so, as soon as i contact my neighbor

there was no traffic ,so how could that be an excuse.in fact there wasnt any traffic in the left 2 lanes for at least 2 miles.yes i know he coulda whipped my ass but he didnt so ya its a kill story in my eyes.if he had all this "power" then why didnt he just whip me instead of pulling in front then watching me fly by him...also wtf u mean by rice.just cause im a v6 doesnt mean im rice

He's just saying GTO's aren't a joke, that GTO wasn't racing you, a stock T/A or Z28 won't even ditch a GTO, let alone a 6er. It's not a kill if you outrun someone that isn't racing you

i know that,all im saying is he made it seem like he wanted to then for some reason back off when i passed him...trust me i know im no match for a gto..im just suprised that someone with a gto isnt showing off its beast.i know its not a kill story but i figured i put it out there that if your gonna own one use it.if i had a gto i wouldnt back down from anything...but i dont understand why he had to use ricer like im some jap car or something

And, just because someone drives a GTO, it doesn't mean they want to street race, especially when it's totally unsafe. Everybody beats me, including ricers, because I don't feel the need to prove anything to anyone on the street. My safety, and those around me is far more important.

see you guys are not getting my point here.im not bashing gto's.in fact im looking to get on.all im saying is everything was safe and no cars were in our way yes he made it seem like he wanted to go but for some reason he backed off.i dont know why but he did.i know he was messing with me as he could of blown me away with ease.i never said this was a kill story either.all my inteinsions was to tell what happened today and you guys are blowing it outta porpotion...

Hey Firebird, put a 100 shot on that sixer. Seriously, I raced a V6 Bird with a hundred shot on it. That thing moved. I ended up edging him out in the race, but it was close. He did get me off the line though. About a 1/2 car. There are ways to make your 'bird fly.
