oh and i own a 99 V6 and im looking for the a newer V8 model 98-02 but i can only find autos, or would it just be cheeper and less of a headace if i bought the LS1-LS6 motor and had that installed??with a new transmission/clutch, i live in the Tampa area if any1 can find a 00-02 SS under 20,000

I live in west palm beach and drove back from NY for my car, picked it up less than 6 months ago. 2000 red SS t-tops, all options 28k miles for 14k. Florida wants too much money for these cars :dunno:

Tell me about it!! I got my 99 in 2000 and they wanted $18,000+. I was able to talk them down $6,000. Now I'm finally able to finish paying off the damn thing at the end of this year :shots:!! Whoo...

IMO it would be a bigger pain in the ass to swap from an A4 to M6 than it would to keep looking for an M6 car. If you want an M6 buy one, otherwise you could probably have more fun that you realize with a bolt on, stalled, DR equipped A4.
