LM plus muffler

Anyone have a set up where they used a muffler from borla or dynomax in the slp LM set up? I'd like to hear some clips too. (already looked on ls1sounds.com, there's hardly anything...)

Can you do this . Add muffler do you cutout the loudmouth pipe (muffler)then add new muffler. Kooks headers and y-pipe on order.(catless)
With $1600 for install tune and headers I do not want to Jerry rig the rest of the Exhaust .

Yes you just cut out the resonator and have a new muffler welded in place of it.

I like it loud but not call the cops loud. and still want to hear the radio.:burnout:

Get the XR1 muffler from Borla. I have kooks long tube headers, loudmouth with that muffler and it definately got rid of the rasp and drone in the inside. Ive had it on for 2 yrs now and its starting to get louder again. If you want a cheap quick fix, thats the way to go.
