Code P1416

I pulled P1416 - Secondary Air Injection (AIR) System Bank 2 with my scanner. Anyone have any pointers as to what is causing this or any information at all? Thanks in advance.......

Fairly common - the passenger side air check valve gets clogged w/carbon over time and stops working. About $15??? at the parts store, easy to replace yourself.

hmm im having this same problem. Where is this check valve located at? And will they know what the part is, or could I get a part number for it? thanks!

It's the round black valve between the metal air tube coming off the exhaust, then connects to the air hose - right above the #4 cyl coil pack. Can't remember the part number, but it's the same for either side.

I started receiving the P1416 code too. I reset the DTCs to make sure it was not a fluke. It returned the code. I read several threads on this one from 05 and 06. Now it is time to get to work and replace the air check valve. Thanks for the advice and assistance! :)
