I've found a donor car for a potential LS1 swap. The car is a 2002 SS. Problem is: the engine is still in the car and I'd have to drop the engine (owner can't do the labor). The car is on the other side of FL. I'm wondering if these engines can be pulled from the engine bay, or if the engine has to be dropped underneath the car. If it has to be dropped, how could I drop and pull this engine without a lift? Maybe a junkyard would pull the engine for me? Any details / instructions on this process would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
