New catback

Hi,
I have a 01 A4 WS6,and need a new catback, and would like some advise on what I should look into.
My OEM stock exaust just doesnt do the car justice,IMO but dont want my ears to bleed on long journeys.
What I would like is a deep rumble at idle,(deeper and louder than stock), hell with a hard pull, and a tame lion at cruisin speed.
From what I have read on here, a loudmouth may be too noisey :dunno: , but stock just isnt loud enough.
I have done lots of reading on here, and listened to ls1sounds, but would still like some advise.
Would prefer a good quality, long lasting part, and 4 pipes at the back (they just look so cool !)
I only intend to replace the catback,and any advise is greatly recieved.

I have the exact same car, I went with the Magnaflow Muffler and tips, you can go with the whole Magnaflow catback (Has 3" pipes instead of stock 2.75" pipes).. I love the sound as it is loud enough at WOT but rumble sound at cruise speeds, no cabin drone but louder than stock. People have said my car is loud enough with the magnaflow rumble. :burnout: My .02

if everything else stays stock, I don't think the loudmouth would be too bad. you could always look at the loudmouth 2s as well

All of these I believe are stainless steel except for the Hooker.

I have an 01 ws6 and i just put on the borla system. Its really worth the $$$. Also the install to about 2 hours start to finish in the driveway. I have the larger plate in and the car is a vert the sound isn't anoying.

If you want to be noticed, go with the loudmouth! but if not go with magnaflow. If you have the money to spend i recommend borla or gmmg...my .02

Ok, theres a lot to think about here.
Can I please have some more opinions on the magnaflow catback please?
Is the magnaflow catback gonna be enough to growl at passers by?
I dont wish to bite off heads, just have a deeper, louder rumble, esp at idle.

I think if there is any concern about not wanting the car to be too loud, magnaflow would be perfect. Only thing is its hard to comprimise no cabin drone what so ever, and balls to the wall while WOT with sound. Also at idle its hard to get a nice loud deep sound without chambered mufflers especially with cats.

Then again it all depends on what people consider loud, I wish my setup was louder at idle, I might go with single chamber race flowmasters.

I have the Loudmouth and love it! Its got a great deep rumble at idle and WOT is awesome. It may not be for those who are more on the conservative side but if your'e not gettin headers, IMO they are the best cat back.

I have them now and am gettin LT's and Y next month, its gonna be insane loud but I figured I could always tone it down (dynomouth) but I wanna stand out. Honestly go to LS1sounds.com, it will help you immensely.
