Looking to run a LS6 in my 62 nova bracket car but need to know who has done this already and what times are being produced with a 2800 lb car and what was done to the motor. No No2 just methanol. Looking to run 10 flat. What its going to take with a LS6. Tom Stark

Sorry Tom I didnt see your post down here......
anyway...I did a quick "Google" of LS6 Nova.....few have done it already apperently...I also found a Nova site that seemed pretty informative....

Curious though of the LS6 versus a LS1/2 though...I will be in the 10's with a 150 shot of nitrous in a 3600lb car and a LS1 H/C/N20....just seems to me a LS1 would put a 2800 lb car in the 10's on all NA Motor.....just curious....anyway...hope the above helps man....

your probably close if you have a light bracket car that cuts quick 60's. 10 flat may need h/c or more.
