Can I use factory manifold gaskets?

I just got longtubes and I want to know if I can reuse the stock manifold gaskets on the longtubes? I would like to know asap if possible I want to install them tomorrow any help is appreciated thanks.

alot do re-use them, i assume if they come off cleanly and look ok. on ls1tech i read some peole reusing them even with 50 to 70k miles on them.

My headers came with new metal gaskets that I used but I couldn't tell any difference in the new ones and the 50k mile ones that were on it. I don't think new ones are at all required if the factory ones look good.

I never reuse gaskets even if they still look new...but if that's your thing then reuse'em.

You might be able to re-use them but why throw all your hard work down the toilet? Just go buy a new set of GM exhaust gaskets - they are actually the best to use.

You might save a little $$ by re-using, but if they leak you'll be kicking yourself in the ass and will then be taking the trouble to replace them anyway...
