The 2002 Z06 Corvette came with the 405 horsepower 5.7 litre LS6 engine.
The 427 that you're asking about is the new 2006 Corvette Z06 engine.

I have a 2002 Z06 in Electron Blue.... is this your 1st vette?

My 1st vette was a 2003 50th Anniversary Z06, Black w/ modified torch red interior, had the car 2 weeks and then had a custom red flame job painted from the hood back to the rear of the doors and custom Corvette Racing Logos painted on the rear fashia. C6R Race car Drivers Ron Fellows and Andy Pilgrim autographed the fuel rail covers for me. Sold that and my 1969 Camaro SS for this vette.:drivin:
