Since I've passed 10 posts I figured it was time to show some pics of car #1. It is basically stock with the addition of slp's oem blackwing airlid, slp cai, bellows, and slp's p/p dual-dual w/oval tips. Up to this point the car has behaved well, with just some of the usual fbody quirks and pains.

Without further a-due!!

dipherentdesign, that is not the stock SS exhaust, he has SLP dual-duals and GMMG tips. I, on the other hand, have the GMMG cat-back (same tips). lbls1, What is a blackwing air lid?

I picked up the exhaust a few months after I took delivery on it. It is identical to the oem slp dual/dual except for the muffler. GM would not allow a loud muffler on their (at that time) new camaros, and I didn't like the oem optional exhaust enough to get it over stock. Later (like most camaro ls1 owners) I found that I wanted a louder sound, but at the same time I didn't want to compromise the (then) new car feel. Enter slp aftermarket exhaust. The tips were acquired from my brother, since he had an extra set.

Last Z, the blackwing airbox lid is the optional lid that was available for ss owners in '02 that was rated to give ten extra ponies. I picked that up at around the same time as the exhaust, as well as the cold air kit and bellows.

Thanks again for the compliments!

tttickticktick(sounds familiar???--ls1 joke!)BOOOM!!!

Ok I give...Ed Hamburger. I'll have to put more emphasis on the engine bay this year. I must have stayed away from the engine bay bc in the back of my mind maybe I was afraid of getting mod-u-itis (the mod fever) again (aka, real reason, desperately trying not to spend money on it). It didn't work, because what wasn't spent on this car ended up on the daily driver.....oh well.
