Hi,

I have a friend with a C5 Z-06 who's in need of new tires. The size he's looking for is 355-35-19. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to go to find tires this size? I don't drive anything that would require such a large tire so I didn't know what direction to point him in. Any help you guys could provide would be much appreciated!

Thanks

why does he need that tall of a tire. and 345/35 and 335/35 are equal in width as a 355/35, it's just that the 355s are taller. the front number is height (335,345,355, etc) and the rear number is width (30,35,40,45, etc). if he wants a wider tire, a tire thats wider than a 355/35, he should be looking for a 345/30 series tire.

you are wrong as rain buddy,

the first number is the width in (MM), and the second number is sidewall in (MM) so a 335 < 345< 355 in width
and the 19 is the rim size in (IN)

ok, the first number is the width in mm...the second number is the aspect ratio of the first...for example, a 275/40/17 tire is 275mm wide and the sidewall is 40% of that or 110mm

the last number is the diameter of the wheel it fits on

I just need to know where to go to get wider tires, my car doesn't need tires even remotely close to that width, so I've never looked.
