I'm new here and just bought a yellow 05 GTO (auto) yesterday. I test drove the Mustang GT 1st, then the GTO. No comparison for me, and i've always owned Fords over the years. Anyway, I paid about $26,200 for the car,--out the door with tax and fees it came to $28,152. The car is brand new and I love it. Good deal?? What do you guys think?

considering the car list for $32K and some change, sounds like you got a great deal.

You raped 'em....now with all that money saved...lets get the headers and CAI on there...here we go:)
Hell I want to know where you got it. I am looking and pretty much gave up, because I was trying to get everthing for 31K (Taxs, gas gus tax, etc).

I got it from Axelrod Pontiac in Parma Ohio. The reason why I asked is because I called the dealership and asked for the sales manager and told him what I wanted to pay. He said " OK, when can you pick it up" I've never had that happen before. I tried several other dealerships and dealt with a salesperson and got nowhere. By going directly to the sales manager is where I think I got lucky, I was shocked and very happy when he said OK. I probably could not have afforded the car otherwise as my other quotes were $2k-$3k higher through the sales people.

Was that a demo? Any mileage? That sounds way too cheap.

I know it sounds too cheap, i only slept 3 hours the night before. I figured i'd get there in the morning and end up getting screwed somehow. I actually made the deal at about 5 pm the night before over the phone with the sales manager. It's new-60 miles on the clock when I got it, it was the last 05 on the lot. It's a yellow auto, not my top color choice but for that price I could not pass it up, besides the more I look at it the more I like it. No pics yet, I'm not too handy with the digital camera and the computer. But when I learn how I'll post some. I'm thinking maybe the owner wanted to get it off the lot, cause thats who I ended up dealing with when I bought it. It was a very small dealership.
