Bascially as the title says, I am curious on what you guys would say is the best deal to do on a rarely driven Trans Am. From the reading, both the Lu's Short Stick, and then like the SLP Short Throw Shifter/B&M say they will reduce throw by usually 40% and eliminate the second to third misses. So which is the better choice, seeing as the short stick is far cheaper?

The 2/3 miss is not going to completely be stopped no matter what. It will greatly be reduced by these shifters. The most popular is probably the Pro 5.0. ALl personnel preference. Good luck with your choice.

I had planned on getting a 5.0 but had trouble justifying that much money on something that doesn't add power. I put LSS on my factory Hurst shifter and haven't miss a gear yet.

of course it depends on how short you want your throws. i know people that like the 30% reduction on the B&M while some only want a 17% reduction. the best part of an aftermarket shifter is one piece all the way through the pivet point and no more flex.

" no replacement for displacement" lol i like that one but i got another one for you. only substitution for cubic inches is cubic dollars.
