I am fixing to put a new clutch in my formula is layed down 400 horsepower@wheels on motor and 500@wheels on a 100 wet kit. I also have the stock rear end with 4:10 gears. Any clutch suggestions?I want something that will hold up but also will not be too violent???

I went with a Centerforce 12" DF....happy with it myself...It grabs hard though, definitely ready to bust those 4.10's ;)

Are you sure about that...? My dad has a C6 Z51 6 speed, and I remember reading somewhere that the clamp load capacity on it is like 680 lb ft. or something like that. I could be wrong, but it would make sense for the LS7 clutch kit to be capable of handling more.

Not really...Its made to handle what it comes with....More power is the reason there is an aftermarket.

Honestly, with stock rear making 400 NA and 500 with Nitrous, I don't think it will matter what clutch you have. First time you launch that thing, BOOM.

I ran a 12.3 on my stock rear, stock suspension, on Nittos, with a good clutch...its all in the launch ;)

I had the Centerforce DF, nothing but problems for me.
