Does anyone know of a way to locate a car that you used to have that either was repoed or traded in? I don't really care for the buyers personal information, I'm just curious as to where it ended up and what part of town it's driving around in.

You could try Carfax. I know that it tells you where the car is registered, but that's about as far as it goes.

There is a website dedicated to finding old musclecars, can't remember what it was called

If you think its in the local area you might be able to go to your local DMV with the vin # and request info on it.

That's too funny! It was about 3 years ago when I got rid of it, and a friend of mine thinks he saw it up in North Dallas so I was just wondering but I might try to find the paper on it so I'll have the VIN #. Thanks for the info.

Try local Chevy dealers also...Go with the VIN# and see if anyone has had it serviced there...
Even though its probably out of warranty by now, some people still take their cars to their local dealer...The service dept can punch up a service history for you and might actually have other details concerning ownership of the cars....
Why do I feel like I'm unknowingly being an accomplice to auto theft!!!???:Ohno:
J/K man....
