I was given a trans cooler when I brought my car a few years ago. My question has two parts. Is it still safe to use after sitting in a closet all this time and what else do I need to make it work. I do not have the instructions and was told by the previous owner that it had been on the car before. I am trying to include a pic. I am getting a vigilante tc installed next week and thinking about asking the shop to install it if I have all the pieces.

definitely install it once you get the TC. Looks like everything is there. You may need a little extra hose but the shop will have that and clamps if needed.

Thanks Onyx. I read something about a valve that works on the viscosity of the oil. Is is withing the cooler itself or part of the hose? I don't have the cooler in front of me but I believe that the metal piece at the end of the hose is only a male/male hose connector but could be wrong.
