there is a guy at work that has a 03 350z, i think they have 287 hp, my ta is bone stock for now, had it for about 6 months and now i want more, we took off from about a 15 mph roll and i let him hit it first, then i put it down by the time i ripped 1st to 2nd i had 2 car lengths on him, i took it all the way thru 2nd and half way thru 3rd and i had him by 8 car lengths, i thought those cars were a lot faster but i guess not, anyways, a kill is a kill and had a good time doing it

Great kill. A buddy of mine has a '99 TA a4 with a stall and a few other mods and he demolished a touring edition 350z like that too. I mean blew flat out blew his doors off.

350Zs are mid-low 14 second cars I think. Not too much to worry about.

Funny thing is, I thought the RX-8's looked pretty fast to, I think 350Z's are faster than those stock. I guess you don't get what you pay for then huh? :ripped: :rl:

Two years ago at the Rock I raced a guy with a 350Z. He had a cat back and cold air and a tune. He was bragging about how He beats Porschas. At the time I had my 95Z28 A4, my best that night was 13.89 at 99, His best was 14.05 at 99. We ran five times and He finished 0-5 LOL.

The rx8 beat them in every catagory except for straight line performance and horse power. Well they beat the older models. The new 350z are close to 300 hp stock.

I would take an rx8 over a 350z any day of the week.

You know, i might be mistaken on this but the Altima SE-R might be a better race( not that they would get anywheres close at all) but ive seen an SE-R and 350z run and the altima walked by 2-3 cars. Same engine and 6 speed also but the alti is lighter and FWD

This is a little upsetting. I've been wanting either a 350Z or the Infinity version, cause I thought they are nice looking cars that would be pretty quick. Are these things that slow or are your cars that hyped up? I figured they would be faster than that cause they look like they don't weight much.

I will tell you straight up...a stock L vs a stock 350Z....give it to the L...no question

High 13's are fairly common for the 350Z if the driver knows how to drive.

Mine ran a 13.640 best completely stock, and with a few bolt ons it has been running 13.3's at around 105.

I have come across one of those 350z's before, they arent much for what its rated at...but the one i raced had exhaust and cold-air and we went from 45mph roll and i walked him pretty good! All depends on the driver tho
