I am looking into doing a engine swap into a 98 V6 camaro...
I have come across a olds aurora and am wanting to put the DOHC 4.0 V8 in place of the blown V6 in the camaro...

My quistion is does any one no if the 4T80E bellhousing will line up with any other GM housing's?
if any one on here work's at a transmission shop and could compare and help me find one that would fit it would be greatly appreciated

I can't help with your transmission but you struck a nerve. I think the Aurora Vs will be a good match to the Camaro. About 10 years ago I helped my buddy shoehorn a Northstar V8 into his Fiero GT. MAN that car could tear after that swap. It didn't loose anything in handing either.

ya the aurora would move before it was wrecked.... and it still start's up and run's smooth in the car... I have found a few place's that say it is a standerd GM v6 bellhousing but have yet to find out what year or other makes that it has come on.

You need to find a 2.8L 60 degree 700R4 found in a S-10 pickup. The Aurora 4.0 is the same as a 4.6 Cadillac Northstar, so do research for info on putting a Northstar in a RWD and you'll have all your answers.
