As you may or may not know i took delivery on a procharged Z06 with an auto swap august 29th. I decided to head over to the next town which is a big town mustang town. Took the girl out to eat and went to walmart. Get outta walmart and decided to hit the streets. I drive around for 15 min and nothing to exciting was going on so i told the girl one one drag down the strip and we will head. SO as i am saying that i hear a mustang and its a 03 style cobra so i am behind him and next thing you know red light so i get in left lane. LIght turns green and i was half throttle and spinning and so was he. He lets off abruptly and i look in the rear view mirror and what do you know a cop. I said shit and kept cool. The cop ended up pulling over the cobra and i got the hell outta there. I guess that is what that cobra gets for messing with me. We were not even speeding so please dont bash me just a little action off the line.

Yeah i felt kinda bad. I would have felt worse if it was a fellow fbody or a vette. But i drove around for like 15 min like i said and i didnt see him so he prolly just got out and that happend. Do you guys know if the cop can do anything to me if i go back up there if he got my plate? Because really he cant prove i was driving. I have personal plates that get here oct 1st that say byby 2 u.

He cannot. He would have stopped you then if he was going to pursue writing you any tickets.

Very true i thought i scooped out all possible areas and then he came from nowhere. Just cant get a ticket for 3 years then i am ok. We have a class in nebr that you can talk every 3 years if you get a ticket or points on your record you can take that class.

Considering you basically have an auto ZR1 I would expect nothing less! Good kill on the cobra. 160 MPH is fun and scary at the same time.

Lol what, a procharged z06 is not a zr1 engine at all. 7.0 vs 6.2, centrifical vs roots style supercharger, zr1 has forged intenals not sure what internal mods you z06 has.

Probably, but did you see the stage 2 lingenfelter zr1, with stock exhaust and just a pulley, intake, intercooler and intercooler piping upgrades and a tune it put down 740whp and 720wtrq. It make 550wtrq at 2krpms lol. It ran a 10.01 at 141mph with all stock suspension and drag radials. Which we all know a 141mph trap speed is good for mid to high 9s with tuned suspension and proper gearing

Mine makes 531rwhp and 480 rwtq throu the auto and i was told 650 at crank EPP mustang dyno on 6psi. I am going to be ordering melrose headers with no cats and corsa exhaust and a tune. I hope to be at 700hp at the crank. I eventually will max out the tranny it was built to take 650rwhp. I dont really wanna spend any more money on that so i will stop there. Atleast thats what i tell myself. I would scann dyno sheet but it wont scan for crap.
