Alright I'm thinking about taking my car to the track, but I'm a little leary on how well the rearend will hold up. I'm putting down 383rwhp and 350 rwtq. I have a 2400 stall, and I wil be running Kuhmo Ecsta SPT's for the tires. The rearend is the stock 3.23's and the suspension is stock as well.

this is traction pending...if you are running street tires..you will just blow your tires off most of the time..if you run any type of drag radial and hook..your 10 bolt will be puking its guts soon

maybe not its only a 2400 stall. better than stock for the powerband but its not a huge improvement. 3k an up is alot more of a shock to the tires. but because its stock suspension i dont expect much traction whether he uses drag radials or slicks. wheel hop is what i expect in this situation. will not break rear end but will do some damage for sure. he is pretty much set up to spin or hop. no traction. that is assuming that those kumhos arent drag tires. i am under the impression kumho has no drag tires.

Yeah If I stomp on it at 35 or 40 mph the assend will just kick out. I haven't had any issues with wheel hop, but ti doesn't hook for shit. I'm in the military and when I'm on post I have to be careful not to break the tires free and get pulled over by the MP's. Alot of the MP's are dicks

It's roulette but your better off being an automatic some people have theres hold up into the 11's with dr's. Curiosity what kind of cam do you have? Get those lca rc b's they did me wonders.

With an A4 you'll be alright as long as you stay away from slicks. Any kind of wheel hop and you'd better let out of it cuz that's a big 10-bolt killer.
If you had a stick I'd be laughing..... 10-bolts dont like too many big clutch dumps.
My friend is running 11.70's on a 3.23 10-bolt with MT ET Streets and a 4k stalled A4 without a problem. I'm about .7 sec behind with the same tires (he has a cam and more stall than me) and no problem.

I beat the crap out of mine, and have had no problem. Times are in sig, and im installing a set of heads this weekend so I should be solidly into the 10's on the factory rear. :screwy:

Its kinda like Peeing into the wind and keeping your fingers crossed you dont get your leg...
97Z, the stock ten bolt held up pretty well
01 SS, Did Great until i added the 15" slicks, some VHT and a 200 shot, Then it took a poo on me..
With an A4 your drivetrain Shock is less when you compare it to a M6. Its a little more forgiving but its the luck of the draw, may hold up may not...
