I think i have a rear end from a 98 bird -- I have a 95. I want to do the switch aroo! both have ABS/Trac control, disk. However, I have been rebuiling the 98 rear end, and noticed after I took off the rotor, (which is bigger than the one on the 95) there where thin drum like pads behind the rotor, as well it has disk pads on the caliper. My 95 rear end is not set up this way. I only have the basic disks and rotor. No little drum pads behind the rotor like the 98. Almost seems as it has disk and rotor combo on it? or is this just the ABS system, or trac control?
Will this work or and im in the dust here? As well , I didnt see the car that the 98 bird rear end came off of so I assuming its from a 98 bird? No way to tell, there are no factory paper #'s on the housing to prove, what it really came from? Maybe it from a diffrent year, not sure how to tell, will it bolt up ok?
Any help would be nice , thanks
