Hey guys just got done with my clutch install. I did a Monster Level 3 w/ chromoly flywheel and I replaced the tranny and torque arm mounts with Urethane as both stock mounts were shot. I now have a pretty pronouced vibration. Is this normal with the urethane parts or do I have another issue? The clutch seems to be working awesome.

I have stock motor mounts/poly tranny and tq arm mount and I had vibes probably 1 day. After that it went away and my car continues to feel solid. I put all that on last year and nothing's broken. I suggest the op allowing the parts to break in.

Yeah I figured the stiffness would lessen with time.

just take it easy on your car for about 1 tank of gas.

Did you get a E.S. or Prothane poly trans mount?

Prothane for the tranny and ES for the torque arm

If you had the E.S.trans mount you could cut or grind down the 2 pre-load bumps and eliminate most of the vibration. I've ran mine that way for a good 7 yrs. There's still a little more vibration then stock , but it's very mild.

mine feels like stock too, but tighter. no extra vibes at all.

I believe I will get the motor and tranny mounts at once since its only $75 dollars. I called a stealership and for the tranny mount alone (ACDelco/stock replacement) was $110 dollars :faint: Wait til I get my K-Member
