A 408 is an LQ9 Iron Block (like the one that comes out of Denalis) and is basically bored out to 4.03" bore, put a 4" stroke forged crank and presto, its a 408. The 416 is (or at least the ones I've seen) are an aluminum block LS3 with a 4" stroker crank.

:drool: that's 70.....I need one. my uncle had a 70 ls6 and he sold it for furniture in the 80's. He's still kickin himself but he bought a #'s matching Z/28 302 and within the past 4years he bought a #'s matching 69 chevelle ss 396. We're 80% done with the chevelle and 97% done with the Z.

cajun firehawk, your left tip is a little crooked. Otherwise that's a sweet ass car. Gotta love them TT's. I'm not even a convertable fan but I'd definitely take this. Get a roll bar (for some reason those look awesome on convertables to me)

Thanks everyone.
The car has pace setter headers into long tubes on it so they dump out the bottom just behind the axel. The interior is red leather with black carpet and custom floor and deck mats. I just got in on the last group by for a new gauge bezel. I have a really good system in the car with a JL stealth box in the back. I can take a few pics and post out later tonight or tomorrow.

PS .. wheels are RPM R505's with Nitto tires .. The car has been lowered and the entire suspension has been upgraded with poly bushings, Eibach pro springs and sway bars, and Bilstein shocks and struts.
