Last night I went to Irwindale:drivin: it was not my night. I got 2 runs in the first run no hook-up, Beat by a SVT truck. My usual times say it would have been close but I was not on my game. My second run I red lighted against an older Chevy 60'ish Nova. The third run I got out ok but got had by an EVO. This makes me want to go into to more mods which I've been trying not to do. My 65 El Co needs to get finished,soon. MY best 60' time was 2.092. I need to get better with the 60' which I'm working on. Oh well!

Sorry to hear about your losses. Your 60' time isn't bad for using street tires. You're not gonna beat an Evo in the 1/8th mile unless you have DR's or alot more power (I use to own one and 1.8 sec. 60' times are easy to come by).

http://www.stealthram.com/familypics/formula00/dynosheet/timeslip/july192004.jpg have a timeslip on here with a 8.786 1/8. it turned into a 13.530 1/4 also have a 8.07 1/8 which translates into a 12.47 1/4.

Wow, that's not a stock Evo. For him to be trapping that high he'd have to be in the 300+ whp realm. That's a 12 sec. Evo easy. Don't feel bad about the loss.
