The reason i ask is because obviously this is my car... and i'm doing the cam install and gear install using my friends shop... Now we took apart the differental to take the old 3.42s out and prep for the 4.10s... NOW!!! The weird problem is the gasket that came with the install kit DOESN'T fit the yolk in the differental!!!! It wont slide over it..... We check every gasket in the shop against it and have no klew why it wont fit????
Do we need to order a special one???? I bought the motive gears btw....

I doubt there's a difference. I am pretty sure they put the same weak ass 7.5 in all of them.

No i know it's a 10 bolt 7.5 but the difference is in the yolk..... My yolk appears to be different because the gasket from the gear install doesn't fit and it's made for my car!!

The 7.5 and 7.625 rears were very similar, maybe you got the wrong gasket. Both rears take the same gear sets but i'm not sure if the gaskets were different or not.

If you are talking about the pinion seal there is 2 different ones. There is 2 different sizes.

did you check back lash and the pinion depth when you put that in...make sure you crush that bearing properly just dont shove it in there and crank it down with an impact....that could lead to soooo many problems down the road...always follow torque specs...
