Stopped at the stoplight in my town a 86ish pony pulled up next to me. ive seen him around a couple times, but have never gotten the chance to run, so we did. from the launch he pulled on me, not hard, but pulled none the less. at 90 he had a car on me. when he started pulling i was like WTF im gettin beat by a busted up pony, till i saw the license plate. 50HMYGD. the next day i ran into him at the gas station got to talking. his only mods were intake exhaust and a rear end. he claimed with the right rear end his car would run 10's.

yeah, just 1, for some reason they ditched the stop sign and put in a light. we got it a few years ago. we just got a water tower too for some reason, theres maybe 1k people living there. someone said something about Hardies coming to town, but i think theyre full of it. i just thought the license plate was kinda cool. every now and then you see a good one, most of the time its some crazy shit you cant understand or something stupid like a Porsche with paidcsh. theres a pt cruiser at my work that has the plates gtbruzr, and a VW with OMGUNUB. i wish i had a civic, then my plate v8musle would actualy give me some power or something like that. seems to me i heard somewhere that you could swap the gears in the foxbodies and run 11's otherwise stock. i wanna say it was on pinks, but that guy is full of shit.

i also shoot myself everytime i launch. i got 140k on a stock rear and would rather get beat because of a puss launch than blow a rear out that i dont have any money to fix.

Upgraded rear ends are usually bigger and heavier, bigger and heavier means more weight and less power getting to the ground through that rear end. The only advantage you get from a rear end upgrade is that it should be able to take more abuse, so no a fox body gains no speed from a rear end upgrade alone, infact it might lose a little if you keep the gears and tires the same as you were using before the rear end upgrade.
