I will be buying one this afternoon. Will I need to replace my lid and bellows? Any other snags I need to know about? Tuning is covered.

thanks!

I bought the SLP 85mm MAF and it worked great, other people have not had goodluck with them losing lowend torque.

I have my MAF connecting straight to an SLP LID and a Fernco pipe from menards connecting the MAF to the TB.

Thanks for the reply, I would have bought the SLP, but EPP says there is a resistor in them and it will be a pain to tune unless I remove this resistor.

The stock one is good for 500hp IMO your better off leaving it alone and spending your mod money on something else. Have a good talk with Bob Beam at EPP before you spend your money, he knows his shit.

We're currently using a 90mm calibrated MAF that we're testing out. We've even fitted it onto a stock LS1. Nice gains so far :)

Went to Murrays Discount Auto and picked up an OEM Z06 MAF, 85mm. Bolted it on and had better throttle responce. I'll know how much HP I gained in 2 weeks when my car gets dynoed again before it gets longtube headers and a tune. I was at 346 RWHP cam only.

just goto an autoparts store and look it up, you're going to have to get some connectors though since it's a 5 prong MAF and the fbody had 3
