I have a 2000 Camaro SS weekend car sitting in my garage that is need of some overdue modifications! I want to go all out with this car in the near future; engine, suspension, brakes. My primary goal is to squeeze 500 hp out of the exisitng LS1 engine that is in the car. What will it take to accomplish this goal WITHOUT the use of a nitrous system? Will the Borg-Warner T-56 six speed tranny and Auburn LS rear end handle that much added horsepower/torque?

Any information to get me started in the right direction would be greatly appreciated!

Look into upgrading the clutch/pressure plate, and adding a T/A rear end cover for now.

best way to make that power is with a supercharger.
with that power level, expect youre rear to take a shit and youll burn some clutchs
