With a buddy of mine-
98 formula w/ LT's, ORY, Magnaflow, lid, filter, tune, 3.42 rear end, 2500 stall.
45mph - even til i hit third, then put 3 cars between us.
60mph - me starting in third, pulled the entire time, had 3-4 cars at 110mph
Dig - He jumped 3-4 cars out on me at launch, I came back around @ 130mph. He was on radials, and I spun like hell.
Afterwards he said it was missing some. And unfortunately after these spirited runs, he has a lifter tapping :(
96-97(not sure) LT1 TA - not sure of his mods. Both of these runs I let him hit it and get going before I ever hit the throttle.
50mph - put 2 cars in between us right off the bat, then to my suprise, he stayed right there til 110 when I let out.
5mph - put a couple between us immediately, missed third and he pulled back even, found third and started pulling again.
There both guys I know well. Felt bad the formula started tapping. And was actually fairly impressed with the LT1. He said he'd played with it a little more, but never would say what he'd done.
