had my tran rebuilt but it doesnt shift hard and it wont down shift on the express way i was wondering what shift kit i should use i bought a trans go but the guy that rebuild my tran said he didnt want to install it b/c he didnt like it he said to get a bM

I've heard only good things about Transgo. I generally don't trust shop guys. Nor Autozone guys haha.

TransGo makes a good product, I work at a trans shop, and besides sonnax valve body updates, thats all we use. Ive never used a B&M though. They might be good but I don't know. Make sure you get the TCC Regulator valve replaced if it hasn't been already. Hope that helps!

With a 99 if your having down shift issues I would suspect a tuning issue or sesor issue like the TPS ,
As for the transgo its and excellent kit however it wont fix the trans not downshifting on the freeway.
The 99 is totally PCM controlled in that area ,
