Clutch pedal assembly question

On the way to work I pushed the pedal in and heard what sounded like a piece of metal snapping(sounded like a coin hitting metal?) and it's got a lot more play in it now... just wondering if anyone might have a clue what broke... It's kind of difficult to see wtf might have broke... tried but it's cramped down there.

probably a bushing-but somebodies going to have to get down there and look.How many miles are on your car?

That is exactly what it is. Mine sounded like a CD getting broken
