What was the best compliment on your car you ever recieved? Give us a good story!
mine: I was washing my car at my apartments when from 60 feet behind me i heard a girl go "WHOA!!!" then her friend goes "ya, but i think he's taken" then i hear the other broad go "hot car though"
2nd best was sitting in bumper-to-bumper traffic in the city during a parade and every person passed my car just ohhed and awwed-mainly 20-ish y/o dudes. I reved the borla's and the guy was like "HELL YAA!!! THAT'S MY CAR!!!!" [heh heh, my car] :headbang:
i' can't get over the infamous "stop-n-stares" that i get too :beer3:

Stop and stares, I love those! The best one I got I was at a light and I took off kinda slow and there was a mercedes CLK vert with a guy driving and 3 girls and the guy were acting all hardcore in what looked like mommy and daddy's car. He floored it and the girls went wooooo! I floored it with the cutout open and spun through first and did a shift and spin through second. The looks on their faces was the best compliment

Asking for me to roast 'em, rev it, etc...
Ricers are abundent in my neighborhood. I consider it a compliment when they copy the WS.6 hood on their hondas, or if they rev at me when I am washing my car.

Probably the best complement I received was when I was getting gas at one of the local WaWa's (when I lived in PA). I use a credit card cause it's faster and I don't have to wait for the cashier to make payment. At any rate, I had just started filling up and over the loudspeaker comes a female voice saying "Pump #16, you may begin filling up your white ram-air firebird", or something along those lines (this was a while ago). I look over to the storefront and there's one of the cashier's waving at me.
Needless to say, I went inside to meet this admirer and found out that she owned a '94 T/A - also white - and she loved what I had done to my car (visible mods are the Raptor hood, 17" A.R. Dagger rims and a Borla exhaust). Never ran into her again, though, so I'll just have to see what my new surroundings have to offer.

I was driving home from work and there was this mother walking her little son(probably like 5 yrs old.)
The little boy was holding his mothers hand and he just stopped dead in his tracks when I drove by, forcing his mom to stop, and he stared at my car until I was out of sight. Cool ass little kid. Maybe a future F-bod owner.

All my brothers friends are 16-20 years old and they think my car is the coolest. They all want to ride in it and go hang out at the strip malls. My 19 year old brother is always trying to give me money to drive it. I think that is pretty cool. Although he has a lowered ext cab v-8 s-10. Hell I would like to drive it.

I always get compliments for my ws6. But the best was when I had my friends in the car and they said "I bet alot of ppl look at you while driving." as soon as they said that I pulled up to a light next to a focus with some 16 yr old boy driving and 3 girls in the car just glared at me pulling up next to them. All of them just satred and told each other "Holy S*** that is the badest car ive seen" me and my buddies tried not to laugh. I think they heard the sound of the dumped true duels.

Let's see best one would have to be, I was out driving around and a Mustang GT pulled up next to me. He had 3 girls in the car with him and they were all looking past him at my car. He got jealous and wanted some. So I waxed him really quick. Couldn't even hear him over my cutout. Next red light he pulled up all quiet looked over at me and in shame in front of the girls said, "Man I love your car it is badass."
Another time I was driving down the road and came up on a Viper RT/10 vert. And he was awwing my car more than I was awwing his. LOL.
And of course I have had several girls tell me to take care of their car.....Yeah right MY car girlie girls.

I got pulled over last weekend for going too slow. The first thing she said was "What's the matter, isn't this car supposed to be fast?" I told her I was trying to avoid bottoming out on the potholes so that is why I was only doing 35 in a 45. She said ok she understood and it was a beautiful car and that was it.

I was driving out in the country with my buddy. And I was doing about 80 and the next thing i knew there was 3 cops on my ass and then the lights came on. So i pull over thinking im screwed , so they ask me some questions then one of the cops goes that thing has the ram air and the ws6 package, and they he starts asking me how many miles are on it and how much i paid for it , and he was like wow you got a steal on that thing nice car man. Then they were asking me how fast it was and stuff and they go i dont think there is anyway we could of caught you in that!

After a late Sat. night of installing my long tubes my buddy an I get up Sun. morning around 11:30 and decide to go cruise around before we put the exhaust back on. So we come rollin' up to this stop light w/ an open off-road y-pipe, cammin, whole cars just shaking, I roll down the windows cause I wanna hear the car at idle, not that you couldn't hear it with them up, just wanted the full effect. So pull up to this older couple, probly 65ish, the husband is driving and he starts to kind of look around as we pull up. When we get right next to him he just looks at us, jaw dropped, looks at his wife and then looks back at us and I just see him mouth the words O H. . .M Y. . .G O D. I just smiled and lit'em thru the intersection. :drivin:

It's been called the batmobile over here too. Personally I get the best kicks out of it when I drive past a van and a little kid climbs all the way to the back to stare are the car and wave... hope he'll grow up right someday and get one of his own instead of a 4 banger... but as far as complements I was turning the corner yesturday and two hot chicks were waiting to cross and they tried hitchin a ride. One had two thumbs up the other showed me her tits... Needless to say I was brought back to reality when my girlfriend looked over at me and asked me to watch the road.

Shortly after the whole 9/11 thing happened I was TDY in Sheppard AFB, TX and they were doing the random checks for the people coming on to the base. They would have you pull over and they would open your doors, hood and hatch and look throughout the car. I just about always got pulled over so they could look. There were even a few that I got to be friends with that would sit in the drivers seat and throw a few revs in it, just to hear the exhaust. It almost makes you wanna cry when you can make someones face light up like a little kids. :) :usa:

I was at a local car show this weekend, with mostly late 60's early 70's muscle cars, and I hear this (about 7 yr old?) kid go "aw cool" and comes running up to my car and just keeps going "cool" and looking at it until his mom says "come on lets go" and he walks away going " cool". To me that was "cool"!
Best comment I ever heard was my wife telling me "I think it could stand to be louder.) Talk about a green light in my head... here comes duals!

1. I was filling up at a gas station and two girls at the pump next to me kept looking over at me and one of them finally says "that's a hot car...".
2. I picked up my buddy the day I bought the car and we had the t-tops off. We were cruising down Cooper St. and three girls in a car pulled up next to us as we were going over a bridge and they were hootin and hollerin at us. It was pretty funny.
3. All the miscellanious people that are to many to count that tell me my car is badass everytime I was walking to it or getting in it.
I loved that car, now its gone....stupid idiot drivers :(

One of the best was while I was walking up to my Z28 a older guy was doing the slow walk and stare at my parked car. I slowed up to see what he was doing and he stopped just staring at the plates. I hit the keyless entry and walked up. He said nice car. I asked if he got the plates and told him. UR JELUS. He smiled and walked away. It happened at a courthouse and he looked like a lawyer with his box of legal work in his arms.

I went to a car show once and a whole bunch of buddies and I were standing by my car. Some ricer guy came up and started freaking out about my car. He absolutely loved it. Then he asked me if it was FWD. My reply was, "Yes, It was a performance option from GM."
I've had MANY cars full of girls scream, "NICE CAR" at me.
I've had uncountable rubber neckers.
But the biggest compliment of all is when old school muscle guys come up and admire my car. I love it when pe ople actually take time to look around at my car at car shows.

damn that's a hard crash back to reality haha...everytime a little kid says cool car or they look at it make sure to tell them what it is so it'll stick in their minds...this will help insure they don't get a 4 banger

I would have to say the two best I have ever gotten was one day on the way home for work I was sitting at a stop light and s burd' pulled up next to me. We sat there for a minute and his window came down and he just looked at me and said, "that thing is not stock is it". And the second one was on a Saturday afternoon a honda with three guys in it pulled up next to me, one gets his phone out and starts recording video, asking me to rev it for him. I think somebody else said this, I love driving around with a big cam and dumped true duals, really turns some heads.--Tony

A day after i bought my car i was at a gas station filling it up and 2 dudes in a truck said that i was lucky to have a boy friend that would let my drive his car. I told them, no my boyfriend will be lucky if i ever let him drive it. I almost had to show these dudes the registration so they would believe it was really my car!
