Cutout Questions

Got a question about cutouts. I hear that the leak. If so, Does anyone make some that don't. Also, where do you mount them.I have an LT-1 with Pacesetter mids and Y-pipe with cat. Does anyone mount them before the cat?. Please help me out.:dunno: :dunno:

You mean the electric ones? Mine leaked after a while, it was installed under the rear passenger seat, stock headers, cats and corsa catback. Don't know of any that hermetically seal - I unbolt/bolt the cap manually now. Doesn't answer your question, but here's a TTT for you.

No - What I mean't was, The location of where the cutout is welded into the exhaust system? Also, Does anyone make a Motorized cutout that will not leak after a period of time. Please let me know if there's any out there.

In the pipe in the section under the back seat before it goes up over the axle. That's where mine is.

i have the QTP electric cut out - It won't leak if you don't have too much pressure behind it - like putting an electric cut out on a car with a stock muffler - bad idea - have a free flowing quiet mufler like the SLP ultra flow and you will be leak free
