Aussie LS1 HSV Clubsport goes 1260rwhp + At Summernats

Just thought you guys might be interested that an Aussie built, developed and tuned LS1 made 1260+ RWHP at our annual summernats here in early Jan.

The car runs a stroker LS1 (using the cast iron block) with twin turbos, custom sheet metal intake, dry ice intake setup etc.

Not sure if you guys have been following the progress of this car or if it rates a mention in HP discussion over there but this is only in early developement and should make closer to 1800rwhp once sorted. :)

I have a video of it when it was running a procharger and had about 900rwhp (over 1000hp at the motor) and he was driving it around the streets, needless to say it was bagging them up in every gear.

He still drives it on the street too :)

Imagine a 7.0 liter block making almost 600 rwhp NA, with 30-35 lbs of boost this can be about 1800 hp.

This is how TT 3.0 liter Supra engines make 1000 whp...... with 35-40+ lbs of boost with race gas.

BIGGER engine "Always" makes more power.
