The machine shop that resurfaced my flywheel turned it crooked! so ofcourse it was off balance and they had to take a TOTAL of 40 thousands off. Is this too much to have in the car without a shim?
Considering that automatics couple to the engine with a flexplate that's no more than 3/16" thick, you should be fine. Just think of it as your own custom lightened flywheel.

well... looks like it's not supposed to be more than .015... so the machine shop is paying for a spec aluminum flywheel for me! that's cool.... I hope it's not TOO light!
