Do any of you guys know where to buy a 12 bolt or 9" rear end at a good price? what is the best to go with for a 98 ss m6 with around 480rwhp? should it be full spool, truloc, trutrac, detroit locker. im pretty confused about wha the difference is between them and aslo what gear to get. its a daily driver so something like 3.89 gears?

They are Very good to deal with!! High quality and un beatable price.
I have gotten 6-8 different 9" rears from them for 4 different cars.
They'll beat ANY price.

You don't see it they will make it for you!
And as Jay also stated you're gears should be quiet!! I don't care what kind of rearend it is or the ratio. A proper set-up ring and pinion shouldn't make noise.

I just bought a nine inch from them and I chose to go with their 9" Ford Housing/Axle Package (2000 Firebird)
- Includes Tubular Torque-Arm Bracket
- Includes GM Flush Mount Housing Ends (Allows use of factory brakes)
- Moser Axles, Axle Bearings, Wheel Studs, & Retainers
- 5 on 4-3/4" Bolt Pattern, 1/2" Studs
Strange Nodular Iron S-Case, Iron Daytona Pinion Support, 1350 Steel Yoke, 3.70Motive Performance Gears, 35 Spline Detroit Locker, & Timken Bearings. I have to say the price was better than I expected.

the basic set up for up to 500hp was $1975 but I chose to go with a bit heavier duty case and axles. Probably overkill but...oh well.:D

For the rear end, I'd rather have a little overkill as extra insurance anyways!

That's what I was thinking. Ive seen too many people at the track try to launch be blow their rearends out. I've been lucky so far it hasn't happened to me. I think I'm going to hold on to this car for awhile so it's going to see a lot of trips down the 1/4 mile.

That's exactly how I'd do it!

Did you purchase your built rear right off of one of their auctions or did you call them up and work it out that way?

I called up and had them build it to my specs. Great customer service so far.
