series 2 carrier vs. series 3 carrier

ok,how do i determine which i have?2002 ws-6 a4.is there a rpo code on the sticker on the inside of driver's door?

Im sure with a ws6 you have a 3 series with 3.42s if its a stick, gu6 on the door rpo would be 3.42s. otherwise with a a4 ws6 would more than likely be 3.23s and 3 series. 2 series is 3.08 and numerically lower. gu2 is 2.73 and gu5 is 3.23 gu4 is 3.08.
