I made another change on the server.
Logout, then clear your cookies. Then relogin.
Make sure the "Remember Me" box is checked.
Also make sure you have a www in your url.
Please let me know if the changes worked.

SO far, all is well.
I posted the other night my findings. I stayed on for about 3-4 hours and had login maybe 15-20 times.
Tonight, all seems good!

Well it is almost fixed for me.
Okay I open the browser blank page and type in http://www.ls1.com/forums/
The forum loads but changes the url to http://ls1.com/forums/ on its own. Then all I do is add the www. and hit enter then boom i'm logged in and everything works from then on. No more of the logging me out randomly except right there at the beginning.

Make sure you have a trailing slash at the end of the url
gnomee
01-27-2006, 08:43 AM
Yep the trailing slash was the cause. Thanks for the help. Although I curious as to why this is such a problem. Is it your server? V bulletin is a VERY popular board software and I don't have any sort of issue on any other boards like this and I also have my own board for body builders using Vbulletin and I don't have any issue like this. I'm real curious as to why your having to deal with this. Have the V bulletin people been any help?

VB support have been no help. There are alot of admins having the same issue after the upgrade. It looks like it started on version 3.5.x
What version are the other boards running on, that are not havuing the problems?

Well I think you might have fixed it. Now when I type in www.ls1.com/forums or any other combo we have been trying it automatically changes it to http://ls1.com/forums/ and everything works fine now.
My new board is www.aggressivemuscle.com using version 3.5.1 in the admincp I have the full path but without the / yet when you go to the site it adds the / for you just like ls1.com is doing now.
