This is a fully functional hood routing air over to the intake....I will/can attest to the absolute quality of this product.....we only had to lightly buff it prior to painting...all the factory hardware bolted right up.....and the weight savings is significant.....

where did you get the air box for your hood to the intake?

I have a KN CAI...the RK hood routes air right on top of it...you can see it here...it seals as if RK and KN collaborated on the design....I also relocated the IAT....(circled in red)
