06 GTO M6 Vs 00 T/A M6

2000 T/A M6, w/ 4.10's Full exhaust, and a Tune
PB: 12.985 @109.9 w/ 1.990 60' on 255/50 Falken Ziex Street Tires. Now running TTII's with 315/35 DR's on the rear.

2001 Bullitt Mustang M5, w/ 3.73's Catback, and a programmer
PB: 13.60 @ 101 w/ 1.9XX 60' on 275/40 MT DR's (Consistent 14.0 on street tires)

And now the story:

First off, The T/A is mine, and my best friend's car is the Bullitt.. Kid from school got the GTO about a month ago and has got good at driving it so far.. Him and the Bullitt kind of raced a few weeks ago, not really, they both spun and GTO missed 3rd...

So last night we lined them up 3 times.

First race: 20 roll, T/A put car, car in half to 110 on the GTO..

Second race: 10 roll, T/A put two car minimum to 115 on the GTO

Third race: 60 roll (GTO's request), both cars started in 3rd gear.. T/a put 3/4 car through 3rd gear and shifted first, GTO still in 3rd pulled 1/4 car back, and then shifted into 4th losing it again.. T/A put 1/2-3/4 car on GTO 60-120ish

After the race the kid in the GTO was surprised he did that good... Now wants to race the mustang for real.

Yep.. Well it was just a spur of the moment ran into each other on the street.. No agreement to race or anything, and it was a really cold day so they both spun..

Like I said the Bullitt is my best friend, and I think the GTO has him by at least a car length

Runs good thats for sure.. Has Bad problems keeping the tires on the ground though, really bad... 14.0-14.1 ALL day with street tires.. 13.5-13.6 ALL day with DR's
