My brother borrowed the TA today cause the tire in his bonneville blew out. On the way to drop off my car at my house when he was done with school/work we had some fun. 1st run we went from a 20 MPH roll. 1st gear the Goat was dead even with the TA (I think he spun a little or the T/A would have smoked me because it is cammed with full bolt ons). When he hit 2nd, the T/A started pulling hard. we cut it off at about 65 MPH with the T/A ahead by about 1 length. 2nd run from a dig, and my T/A smoked My GTO badly. My brother had a good launch that time (I got a good launch too) and we ran to about 70 and the T/A won by 2 lengths. I was very surprised with my GTO for a mostly stock car (headers Exhaust CAI only). My T/A runs in the 11's with the mods in my sig. It was a freaking blast, and hopefully I get to run them again when I get the GTO tuned next month.

How in the hell do you call a car with HEADERS, EXHAUST, AND COLD AIR INTAKE, STOCK?????!?!?!? or "MOSTLY" STOCK????? mostly stock would be a drop in air filter and maybe a muffler only swap.

I dunno, I guess it isnt mostly stock. There is a lot more to be done though

I'm not trying to start shit man.:D But calling that stock is a little far fetched. IMO
On the other hand, I would consider myself "mostly" stock. I have a drop in K and N filter, Free Ram Air Mod, De-baffled stock air lid, no cats and a Flowmaster Super 40.
Nonetheless, regarding your originial post, sounds like fun man! Wish I could get my dad to race me or atleast have a little fun on the hwy in his 'Vette.

Yeah it was a blast. It will be interesting to see what happens after the Goat gets tuned.

My brother has a 98 T/A vert with a stall, gears full bolt ons and 175 Shot so I trust him pretty much to drive either one of my cars. The only other person I would trust would be my dad.
How is the S4? I like the audis look and style. I think it would be a fun car

I personally never thought I would own a German car but I love the damn thing and is an amazing dd. But its real quick it would pull me off the line no question and the TA would have some catching up to do, I dont know it would be a close race but no one I know would know how to drive either of my cars so I can just imagine what would happen. The TA would pull it in the end but not by much.
