will an ls1 4l60E fit an LT1

Specifically will a 4L60E from a 99 ls1 fit on an 95 lt1

From what I hear a 1 piece case(bell housing is part of the case) it will not due to a different bellhousing bolt pattern for the LS motors. Now if it is a 2 piece case (bellhousing unbolts) that may be a different story because I think you can take the a non ls bell and mount it to the ls case but I am not sure if the shaft lengths are different. And I am not sure that any 93-02 F-Body ever came with a 2 piece case. mostly trucks I think.

I have worked on bolth, never tried to swap one for another but from the looks the bellhousing is alot different i dont think it would just bolt right up.
